details

UIOTW is the weekly user interface design challenge, investigating key UI/UX design components while addressing functionality and aesthetics. This is one of the best practices for creating compelling work, resulting in a diverse range of screens and various explorations in concept, branding, and design trends. All interfaces made with Figma.

What I have learned

Investigating key UI components weekly, I understand UI elements, and how users interact with them. It allows me to recognize opportunities to use them in my designs, helping me design clear and simple user interfaces.

Process

Research UI components, primarily Material, and UI/UX trends on Dribbles, Behance, and Pinterest.

Brainstorm concept and theme for each week.

Sketch out ideas, composition, and layout with pen and paper. Then, design in Figma.

Week 01 / sign up & log in page

This is the interface of Homely, a furniture mobile app. In 30 mins, I challenge myself to design three app screens when users open the app: a splash, a sign-up, and a log-in screen.
